Livening up the Mt Gambier Airport through aesthetically inviting design elements while
meeting a functional, carefully curated architectural brief was all part of working on such a
large-scale commercial build.
High foot traffic areas set against designated rest and waiting areas located across the
Airport, required a diverse range of glass shapes and sizes. Large sheets of glass were used
to create expansive viewing areas, while bespoke, circular, square and rectangular shapes
were used to enhance design elements.
A large, circular glass ceiling window was installed to illuminate a seating area, utilising Low
E Double Glazing across all glass options for energy efficiency and climate comfort.
